Mira Prism Pro Wearable Compliance Platform
Mira Prism Pro is an innovative, low-cost augmented reality headset for industrial applications. It was designed to be practically indestructible; able to withstand years of use by non-gentle people in heavy dust, high heat and humidity, and literally explosive work environments like refineries, oil & gas fields, or foundries.
Tact teamed up with Mira’s electrical engineers and Astro Studio’s industrial designers to develop the production version of the headset based on an initial low-volume 3D-printed sales prototype. Tact supported Mira’s growing team, strategically developing a plan to meet rigorous safety and regulatory requirements for harsh environments. We then put that plan into action (developing the mechanical design, prototyping, testing, sourcing, and consulting on manufacturing), resulting in a smooth transition to production.
