Magic Leap 2 Immersive AR Headset for Enterprise
The Magic Leap 2, winner of the iF Gold Award for Design, is the highly anticipated follow-up to the revolutionary Magic Leap 1. The updated design features a larger field of view and segmented dimming. Even with the added features, Magic Leap managed to create a streamlined, modern silhouette significantly lighter than the original. In addition, the outstanding ergonomics of the Magic Leap 2 make it ideal for enterprise applications and comfortable for extended periods of wear. Tact worked closely with Magic Leap’s industrial designers to build and refine the CAD throughout the development process. As a result, we delivered meticulously clean, organized, and highly modifiable CAD files that would set Magic Leap’s engineering team up for success.
UPDATE: The Magic Leap 2 VR headset recently received an IEC 6061 Certification which clears it for use in operating rooms and other clinical settings. Magic Leap 2 allows surgeons to utilize 3D visualization in real time without looking away from the patient.
