Tom Ford Stainless Steel Watch Bracelet
This gorgeous stainless steel watch bracelet is the latest addition to the line of beautiful interchangeable straps by American fashion designer Tom Ford. Until now, the straps were crafted from flexible leathers that the wearer could easily swap out by sliding a new strap through the brackets on each side of the timepiece case, like a belt, no pins or special tools needed. The team at Tom Ford came to Tact with a rough concept for a stainless steel bracelet that could be quickly swapped, just like the leather straps, but needed a way to make it work. Getting the sculpted links to pass through the brackets and behind the watch yet fit precisely to the case was a significant technical challenge. We helped develop an innovative hidden mechanism to secure the stainless steel bracelet to the watch case, achieving the flawless appearance of a luxury stainless steel watch.
