HP Victus 15L Gaming Desktop
HP recruited Tact to develop the logo element for the Victus 15L gaming PC. In order to create the desired recursive lighting effect within the logo shape, Tact designed a system of layered foils and films with specific reflectivity and transmissivity rates and a diffusion scheme to make LEDs appear as a single, even light element that infinitely recedes into the chassis. In reality, the assembly does not intrude into the chassis and is confined to a deceptively small stack up. Our solution enhanced the original design intent with crisp, even layers of light and dark. We also optimized the parts to reduce complexity for prototyping and mass-production. The result is a striking “infinity mirror” logo that gamers will love.
