HP Envy Move All-In-One PC
Tact worked closely with the HP team to help develop HP’s Envy Move, a portable All-In-One desktop PC. Tact worked on variations to HP’s swivel foot mechanism, helping actualize their vision for a unique, auto-deploying kickstand function. After ideating over 30 alternate mechanism concepts, we dialed in the engineering and delivered prototypes of the most promising solutions. We carefully sculpted the enclosure to incorporate the electronics and I/O ports while preserving the crisp, thin profile the design team envisioned. The result is a cleverly functional and elegant design that delights users, particularly when the feet “magically” swing out as you set the device on your desk.

I love that really innovative stand that it has on there where the feet just pop out once you place it on the table or desk—very clever engineering indeed.
